Death is mystical event. While some say it is the end of a life and start of a new one, others elaborate that the soul only changes its exterior/carrier and continues its journey. But one thing is for certain, each of us is afraid of dying. However small may be that fear, but death is the ultimate horror tale. But it is a natural reflex to protect and sustain one's self. This fear is an innate quality or an instinct. What results in this fear? What we fear may not be the pain which we always think death to be.. What we fear may not be the fright of the devil roasting us in hellfire.. What we fear may not be the end.. but it may be, a new beginning.
The fear of death may just be the dread of starting all over. Everyone has some positives to hold on to. Be it to be the one we love or the one who loves us. It may not be what we have but whom we have. It may even not be whom we have but who has us. It may be our actions or our words, we have created a bond so strong that we are terrified by just the thought of its break up. Death may be defined as the fear of losing these things that we have collected in our short trip to this carnival of life. To ask to renounce our prized relations without feeling a thing is too much of a favor to ask.
For those who witness this tragic demise are equally at loss. They may not fear the end, but they definitely are scared of the future ahead without 'the departed'. The bond they shared is always mutual (whether they realize it or not). So treasure life and those who make it colorful, beautiful and wonderful, the way it is..
As Akon puts it:
"No need to cherish luxuries (cause everythin' come and go)
Even the life that you have is borrowed
(Cause your not promised tomorrow)
So life your life as if everydays' gon be your last
Once you move forward can't go back"
Even the life that you have is borrowed
(Cause your not promised tomorrow)
So life your life as if everydays' gon be your last
Once you move forward can't go back"
